Kokoweef cave onyx is a calcium carbonate accretion from a cavern in California.  Through these limestone caverns in the 1920's, a man allegedly found a legendary underground river full of golden nuggets.  The operation to find that river is still underway today.  These slabs are cut from stalactites and stalagmites found in these caverns.
